The Best!I am 74 years old. I have home colored and salon colored my brown hair for decades. My roots are 90% white now and quite resistant. Because of covid I needed to go back to home coloring. I tried your heavily advertised competitor. It was so-so but pretty expensive. I tried a couple of famous off the shelf brands with flat, monochromatic results and poor white coverage. My hair was somewhat dry and brittle. Today I followed your directions and VOILÀ!! My shoulder length hair is silky and shiny and supple. The light brown covered my roots in 30 minutes. Directions & Kit & Color & Convenience beats Sally’s BeautyBefore the pandemic I had my hair colored at a salon but I’m not a stranger to box dyes and purchasing individual products at Sallys to color my hair. This kit is next best alternative to going to get your hair colored at a salon. A specialist mixed the color I wanted and it’s darn close to what I was hoping for. So glad I gave it a try!I ordered my color, then I began to second guessed my choices of doing so after reading a few reviews online that were negative. I’ve colored my hair in the past myself with beauty salon products and I was so nervous about doing this with only pictures and writing of my wishes. Well, I ended up calling once received to feel better about my choice and the lady was sweet but not too helpful, I told her I was nervous about using the products and she told me to just follow the instructions. Not completely satisfied with that answer, I shelved the box again for a week. Then seeing my need to color my roots and minimal grays, I called once again. I got a specialist and she discussed my fears, told me the colorist took all my stated fears into consideration already and explained everything in detail to me about how they do things. Now satisfied, I took the plunge and I am so glad I gave it a try! The color is exactly what I wanted. Hair feels healthy, looks shiny and I had plenty of color for my hair that goes mid to low back in length. I am very excited and know they are there to help if you need it. Just do it!I just got done doing my root color for the first time. I always, always go to a salon. I thought why not give this a try. First, it is sooooooo easy. I will admit the back was a little tricky but I think I get how to do it next time. The other thing I personally think will work better for me is to mix the color in a bowl.Now I get why my stylist does it that way!The color (medium brown) matched perfect and I wanted to save my balayage and it worked. Covered my grey roots and blended perfectly. I will go to my stylist to have the balayage done but I will continue to do my roots through esalon! I'm going to share my age because I think everyone should know how awesome this company is, from ordering, to shipping, to great product, they've nailed it! I have long hair, I'm 70 years of appreciation of life, and absolutely love when a product shows up that is top quality in this day and age of a gazillion new products out there! Thank you esalon! Can't Believe ItI can't believe I CAN get salon quality hair color online!! So now the test comes... my hairstylist is finally opened and I have an appointment for a cut so we'll see what she thinks! UPDATE: my hairstylist of 15+ years had to admit the color was exceptional and that the health of my hair was fantastic. Very helpful customer serviceI enjoyed the experience of esalon helping me find my desired hair color. I think I even became a difficult client by changing it up and needing the extra help to change my formulation a few times. I'm sorry about that, but they continued to work with me and resolve any issues that I had. The shipping did take almost 4wks for my last package but that has nothing to do with the company! Thank you very much esalon. I love my hair color results! Also the tint rinse is a great product to keep your hair up to par. FIRST TIME USERI was a little nervous to use this. I have been going to a salon for a few years now & I didn't want to ruin what my stylist had done. With covid & not being able to go to the salon, I thought I'd give this a try based on the positive reviews. I'm glad I did. It was pretty easy and the color turned out great & didn't feel or look dried out like it can with some box dyes that I have tried in the past. Game ChangerAbsolutely blown away by this hair colour. I was reaaaaally skeptical about trying it and kept putting it off and re reading the reviews and then decided to give it a go! Spent so long, looking at all the different colours. Pretty much every time I colour my hair normally, it goes darker than the colour shows and makes my hair dull and heavy with colour for the first few days. This esalon colour came out the EXACT colour on the chart, and reaaaally shiny ( which is hard to get with curly hair ) and soooo soft! Love the fact you do the roots first and do the ends last! Such a lovely, soft colour and the most natural looking colour I’ve ever used!! Will never go back to a shop bought colour again! Love it!!! Grey coverage was excellent too! Best discovery EVER!I am extremely pleased with the results! I was reluctant at first as I had highlights and dark roots and I had previously tried to do it myself with drug store products which turned to a disaster and had to to back to the hairdresser. Your advisors kindly emailed me and suggested a strawberry blonde instead of the dark blonde I chose and the colour turned out AMAZINGLY! Really easy to use and good quality. Great colorI love my custom color set and have been using it for several years now. I have naturally dark auburn hair, but have started getting a little white hair here and there. The colorist worked with me to help me get the best match to my natural auburn and now a root touch up every few months keep my hair looking great.
