Loved it! Reviewed Colour: Medium to Dark Copper & Mahogany I loved this! I ordered one a few months ago and was too scared to try it, but now that we are safely in 2021 it felt like it was time. It was easy to apply- I followed the directions and also watched how-to videos on the site. I left it in for less time then was recommended due to chunky highlight fear- but it looks great! Very natural. I think next time I may leave it in for the full amount of time but we will see how the news cycle goes before I make any big decisions. Beautiful And EASY highlights at home! Reviewed Colour: Medium to Dark Blonde The first time I used the highlighting kit I was pretty nervous but when I got going, ( after I watched the videos)- I found it was super easy and it turned out just as good as any highlights I’ve had in the salon. I just used it again for the second time and really couldn’t be more pleased. For the price, ease of use and beautiful outcome I can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t do this at home. Good first time result Reviewed Colour: Medium to Dark Copper & Mahogany I just did my highlights last night after watching probably no less than 20 Youtube videos of other's experiences, as well as the eSalon tutorials. PROS: I liked that I felt prepared with my technique after watching the videos, and I found that in practice I did a better job than expected with NO experience. It seems like the formula and instructions make the process relatively foolproof. I am impressed with my results and plan to use the kit again in a couple months to touch up and add more lightness. CONS: I have a *ton* of hair. Not only extra thick, but also long. I needed to add a few more sections than the instructions recommended in order to get enough visible result, and by the end I was stressing not having enough of the formula left. I will be ordering the kit again soon to add in a few more sections, and touch up the existing ones, but it would have been nice if eSalon would have upped my amount according to my profile. 36 of 37 people found this review helpful. Took 3 tries to get the desired results Reviewed Colour: Light to Medium Brunette I saw video reviews of other ladies with the same dark color as mine who were able to achieve noticeable highlights and I was initially disappointed that I didn't receive the same results. The highlights either didn't show up or was too brassy. I contacted eSalon for help and was given a 2nd box for free! Amazing service! With the 2nd box, I divided it in 1/2. The 2nd time I was able to achieve the desired brightness, but again, some spots needed additional touch ups (such as my bangs), therefore the 2nd half of the box came in handy. Takes practice! Reviewed Colour: Medium to Dark Copper & Mahogany So I definitely have to say that putting highlights in your hair can be a bit difficult if you do it by yourself for the first time. With that being said it did come out a little patchy but the colors did everything that they were supposed to be and for that I am completely satisfied. Going to do the same thing next month!
